Aries by the Gorillaz
The song starts with a guitar riff and the title spoken. From that start I was honestly unsure if I would like the song, but as soon as the beat kicked in and the guitar riff came in I immediately changed my mind. The song’s lyrics are pretty simple, and you could probably memorize them after a couple listens. My favorite part of the song has to be the repeated guitar riff that is played through out the song. I really enjoyed the sound of this song. I know a couple songs by the Gorillaz, but this song immediately shot to the top of my list. This song made me want to check out more music by them and it also made me want to dance to be honest. Overall this song was amazing, and I’d recommend it to anybody looking for new music the check out.

Midnight by Alesso feat. Liam Payne
This song is most definitely a pop love song. I like the use of the acoustic guitar in this song. The sound of the song is really good. I’m not super into the type of music that Alesso produces, but I actually really liked this song. This song is the type of song that I see myself driving in the car with the windows down to. The lyrics aren’t super complicated, and I feel you could memorize the chorus after just one listen. Liam Payne kind of brings that One Direction sound into this song and that may be part of the reason I like it so much (as One Direction is for sure one of my guilty pleasure bands) Overall, I enjoyed this song and would recommend it to lots of my friends and anyone who really enjoys One Direction.

Let Me Down Slowly by New Hope Club
This song is very catchy, and the chorus is super easy that you will for sure have it memorized after one listen. I don’t have a lot to say about the instrumental aspect of this song. In my opinion it sounds like a lot of the music being put out today which to me feels a little lazy, but that’s just me. I don’t think the song is bad and I feel that the lyrics for sure tell the story of a breakup. I for sure feel like this song is going to be liked by a lot of people. It has a good beat that you can definitely move your head along to or dance to. Overall this song was good and a fun listen, but I don’t feel like it offers anything groundbreaking.
