BERGEN, NY - Byron-Bergen secured another big win as they defeated Attica 10-0 Wednesday night. The defending Class C2 Sectional Champions scored five goals each half to make easy work of another league opponent.
Senior Victoria Rogoyski led off the scoring early as the Bees took control and never looked back. Two more seniors joined the scoring column as Emma Starowitz goal made it 3-0. It was then Mackenzie Hagen getting two goals back-to-back, as the Bees were going full throttle eventually heading to halftime up 5-0.
In the second half, Mia Gray showed her dominance by scoring the first goal and ending with the last goal later on. She made plays all night notching four assists and contributing to six of the 10 goals in total. Rogoyski and Starowitz each scored in the second half to make for multi-goal nights as well. It was a balanced attack that led to another blowout win.
Byron-Bergen now advances to 3-1 overall on the season with an undefeated 3-0 record in league play. They have outscored league opponents 26-0 so far on the season, with previous big wins against Lyndonville/Barker and Notre Dame. Their next game will be on the road against Holley Central for a 7 p.m. start time this Friday night.
