BROCKPORT, N.Y.--The Brockport Golden Eagles women’s swimming and diving team beat Oswego State 168-128, tying their longest win streak against the Lakers at 4.

“We put a lot of people in events that are not normally the ones they swim,” Brockport head coach Zack Wahl said. “We’re just giving them an opportunity to have a little bit of fun. I’m very happy with the outcome there.”

“Today was fun. It’s not the usual events I swim, other than the 50 free, but it was just a fun meet today,” Brockport’s Sarah Kilburn said. “It was fun to go out there, swim some different things and still do pretty good.”

Kilburn won all three of her individual events, finishing 50-yard freestyle in 25.54, the 50-yard butterfly in 27.55 and the 100-yard individual medley in 1:04.14.

“What makes me so proud of a win like this is when I see other girls doing their best,” Elizabeth Sagan said. “I like seeing them have fun because I know they beat down on themselves really hard, especially the flyers and Imers. Those are hard events. So, seeing them get excited and energized for a 50 that they don’t normally do is really refreshing.”

In the 200-yard medley relay, Brockport took first and third with times of 1:54.78 and 2:01.89.

In 200-yard freestyle relay, the Golden Eagles grabbed first and third with times of 1:43.19 and 1:49.79.

Sagan won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:00.85 and the 100-yard freestyle in 54.59.

Hannah Ramos won the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 31.08

Addy Martino won the 50-yard breaststroke in 33.47, placed third in the 500-yard freestyle with a 5:49.06 and snagged third in the 100-yard individual medley in 1:08.64.

Maddie Erhardt won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:03.99.

Miya Vitale won the 100-yard backstroke with a 1:04.35.

Sam Whitman placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:15.25
