The SUNY Brockport Men's Ice Hockey team had a pair of SUNYAC matches this weekend. They hosted SUNY Cortland on Friday night then traveled to Oswego to take on the #8 ranked Oswego Lakers on Saturday night.

On Friday night, Cortland got the scoring started early and never looked back. Cortland junior defensemen Liam Anderson got a Hooking penalty 1:32 into the game. One minute later sophomore Domenic Settimo scored a shorthanded goal to put the Red Dragons up 1-0. 18 seconds later, Settimo added another shorthanded goal and just like that the Golden Eagles were down 2-0 just three minutes into the game.

Cortland junior forward Nate Berke scored on a Power Play at 13:32 into the first period to put the Red Dragons up 3-0. One minute and three seconds later Dominic Settimo earned the hat trick and put the Red Dragons up 4-0. Then just 11 seconds later Settimo added his fourth goal of the game to make it 5-0 Red Dragons.

There would not be another goal until 10:04 into the third period when Cortland freshman forward Devlin O'Kane added a goal to make the score 6-1. That would be the final score of the game.
