The Red Dragons would add to their lead after another Powerplay goal by sophomore defensemen Johnny Facchini just 2:26 later. At the 12:11 mark in the second period, senior forward Trevor Veneklase scored on a Powerplay and just like that, Brockport found thems lves down 3-0.
The Golden Eagles would not go down easily though. At the 6:06 mark in the third period, freshman Manny Sanchez got one in net to cut the lead down to 3-1.
