Both teams turned the ball over throughout the first half, with the first play from scrimmage being an interception for Albion. After that, three fumbles for Roy-Hart/Barker and two by Albion, along with an interception, ended the majority of the first half drives.
In the second half, both teams managed to turn the ball over less, and with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, a flood of scoring began. Cencere Lowe took a kick return 70 yards to the house to give the Purple Eagles a 28-14 lead with six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Albion defense stood strong, forcing another stop on 4th and long to prevent any late game comeback attempt from Roy-Hart/Barker. Albion will take on Maryville at Maryville next Thursday at 7:00pm.
