Both firefighters and police were on scene at Applewood Drive in Greece this morning after receiving numerous calls about a house fire. The house was found empty of residents, allowing first responders to react quickly, which included knocking out most all of the windows of the residence.
North Greece Fire Chief Sam DeRosa told 89.1 The Point, "First in units had heavy smoke from the first floor of the house. [We] Went in, made an attack on the fire, searched the house found that there was nobody there. Got the fire knocked down, [and] got the building ventilated."
