Hall of Fame

The WBSU Hall of Fame pays tribute to Brockport students who worked at the station. Nominees for the induction will be chosen by a nominating committee. Candidates are selected based on a number of factors, including their contributions to WBSU and/or career accomplishments and honors in a media-related field.

View All Hall of Fame Inductees

Qualifications include:

  • Must have worked at the station for 4 semesters

  • Must have completed their time at the station at least 10 years ago

  • Must have had a significant career in the media or contributed to WBSU in a certain way

Selection Committee:

  • The Current General Manager

  • One Current Student member in good standing

  • One Journalism / Broadcasting / Faculty* 

  • One WBSU Alumni*

*can sit for maximum of two nomination cycles per term before being replaced

Inductions:

  • A ceremony will take place every other year

  • Maximum of five Inductees per class

  • Approval of 75% of the Selection Committee is required for induction

  • Self-nominations or nominations are accepted via the Hall of Fame website, but are not required to be considered
